Set not thy heart upon thy goods;

Follow not thine own mind and thy strength,

And say not, Who shall have dominion over me?

Say not, I sinned, and what happened unto me?

Concerning atonement, be not without fear,

And say not, His compassion is great;

Make no tarrying to turn to the Lord;

Set not thy heart upon unrighteous gains:

Winnow not with every wind,

Be steadfast in thy understanding;

Be swift to hear;

If thou hast understanding, answer thy neighbor;

Glory and dishonor is in talk:

Be not called a whisperer;

In a great matter and in a small, be not ignorant;
