All wisdom cometh from the Lord,
The sand of the seas, and the drops of rain,
The height of the heaven, and the breadth of the earth,
Wisdom hath been created before all things,
To whom hath the root of wisdom been revealed?
There is one wise, greatly to be feared,
He created her,
She is with all flesh according to his gift;
The fear of the Lord is glory, and exultation,
The fear of the Lord shall delight the heart,
Whoso feareth the Lord, it shall go well with him at the last,
To fear the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
With men she laid an eternal foundation;
To fear the Lord is the fullness of wisdom;
She shall fill all her house with desirable things,
The fear of the Lord is the crown of wisdom,
He both saw and numbered her;
To fear the Lord is the root of wisdom;
Unjust wrath can never be justified;
A man that is long-suffering will bear for a season,
He will hide his words for a season,
A parable of knowledge is in the treasures of wisdom;
If thou desire wisdom, keep the commandments,
For the fear of the Lord is wisdom and instruction;
Disobey not the fear of the Lord;
Be not a hypocrite in the mouths of men;
Exalt not thyself, lest thou fall,
