He that feareth the Lord will do this;

2 And as a mother shall she meet him,

3 With bread of understanding shall she feed him,

4 He shall be stayed upon her, and shall not be moved;

5 And she shall exalt him above his neighbors;

6 He shall inherit joy, and a crown of gladness,

7 Foolish men shall not obtain her;

8 She is far from pride;

9 Praise is not comely in the mouth of a sinner;

10 For praise shall be spoken in wisdom;

11 Say not thou, It is through the Lord that I fell away;

12 Say not thou, It is he that caused me to err;

13 The Lord hateth every abomination;

14 He himself made man from the beginning,

15 If thou wilt, thou shalt keep the commandments;

16 He hath set fire and water before thee:

17 Before man is life and death;

18 For great is the wisdom of the Lord:

19 And his eyes are upon them that fear him;

20 He hath not commanded any man to be ungodly;
